Haedrig's Gift GR20 Season 25 Guide

Introduction

The Haedrig's Gift is a fast track to getting your first full (6) Pieces Set during the start of a season. Completing Chapters 2 through 4 of the Season Journey rewards you with one bag containing two set items for your class. The first chapters are very easy, but in Chapter 4 you are required to complete a Solo Greater Rift 20 in order to unlock the last pieces, which will give you a huge boost to your progression and clear speed. This overview will help to you get started as fast as possible.

This time around, Demon Hunters, Monks and Wizards are the big winners here. They get The Shadow's Mantle, Monkey King's Garb and Firebird's Finery respectively, which can transition into better setups with ease. Luckily GR20 is very easy to complete even without a proper setup in most cases.

These proposed setups use the minimum requirements to clear GR20, which is usually just 4 pieces of the set and random yellow items. In some cases a single legendary item (which you will very likely have from gambling/cubing at level 1 or found along the way) was added to make the setup stronger because the first bonuses of some sets don't provide enough power for easy completion.

Some of these sets are quite bad without their (6) Bonus or even with it when they don't have a range of supporting legendary items. This especially applies to Necromancers with Grace of Inarius, so instead of going with your half-completed set you can just run with Legacy of Dreams, level it up a few times and equip any random Legendary items you can find, making it even easier to complete GR20 with just about anything you choose. Check below to find out more about the suggested setups.

GR20 Setups

Barbarian - Might of the Earth

GR20 Run
Keep up War Cry and Battle Rage at all times while using Threatening Shout for Fury. Use Leap and Earthquake as much as possible for DPS. You can also reset their cooldowns using Seismic Slam to nuke even more often. This run should be very easy.

Full Set
After you complete the full Might of the Earth set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Blade of the Tribes
  • Lut Socks
  • Girdle of Giants
  • Band of Might

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Might of the Earth Leapquake Guide

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setups we recommend for Barbarians are the Wrath of the Wastes Rend or LoD HotA builds.

Crusader - Thorns of the Invoker

GR20 Run
This run will be very easy. Use Punish to stack up your Thorns damage and use Bombardment and Akarat's Champion for more defense. Ride your Steed Charge through the rift and look for valuable targets!

Full Set
After you complete the full Thorns of the Invoker set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Belt of the Trove
  • The Mortal Drama
  • In-Geom
  • Aquila Cuirass
  • Justice Lantern

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Invoker Thorns Guide

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setups we recommend for Crusaders are the Aegis of Valor Heaven's Fury or Fist of the Heavens or the Armor of Akkhan Bombardment builds. Click here for Heaven's Fury, Fist of the Heavens and Bombardment guides.

Demon Hunter - The Shadow's Mantle

GR20 Run
With the (2) Bonus giving you such a massive damage boost already this run should be a walk in the park. You should have either Lord Greenstone's Fan or Karlei's Point from crafting them at level 1, so just use any of their supported skills or whatever you feel like to blast through the rift.

Full Set
After you complete the full The Shadow's Mantle set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Karlei's Point
  • Holy Point Shot
  • Elusive Ring
  • Dawn

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Shadow Impale Demon Hunter Guide

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setups we recommend for Demon Hunters are the Gears of Dreadlands Hungering Arrow and Embodiment of the Marauder Sentry builds. Click here for GoD DH or Marauder guides.

Monk - Monkey King's Garb

GR20 Run
The clones from the (4) Bonus will easily destroy everything on their own. Your objectives are only to stay alive, make pulls and keep up Sweeping Wind at all times. Use Cyclone Strike to group up enemies and Dashing Strike to move around.

Full Set
After you complete the Monkey King's Garb set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Vengeful Wind
  • Incense Torch of the Grand Temple
  • Pinto's Pride
  • Tzo Krin's Gaze
  • In-Geom

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Sunwuko Wave of Light Guide

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setup we recommend for Monks is the Inna's Mantra Mystic Ally build. Click here for the Mystic Ally guide.

Necromancer - Grace of Inarius

GR20 Run
Grace of Inarius isn't a great starter and doesn't offer that much to help you in GR20. Instead, use Legacy of Dreams with any random legendary items you can find. If you acquire any strong damage multipliers, use that to make it easier. Skeletal Mage is a great skill on its own, otherwise acquire Grasps of Essence by gambling with a level 1 Necromancer and use Corpse Explosion as your main skill.

Full Set
After you complete the full Grace of Inarius set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Grasps of Essence
  • Trag'Oul's Corroded Fang
  • Messerschmidt's Reaver
  • Krysbin's Sentence

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Inarius Corpse Explosion Guide. Alternatively, just stick to your Legacy of Dreams setup and improve it by acquiring more (ancient) legendary items, key legendary powers for your main skill and leveling your gem.

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setups we recommend for Necromancers are the Legacy of Dreams Skeletal Mage or Corpse Explosion builds. Click here for Corpse Explosion or Skeleton Mage guides.

Witch Doctor - Raiment of the Jade Harvester

GR20 Run
The easiest way to clear GR20 with this set is playing around the (2) Bonus: Make small pulls and spam Haunt all the time. As soon as all nearby monsters have the DoT on them, you will start oneshotting them one by one once a second application lands on them. Make sure to keep up Soul Harvest and use Spirit Walk for survival and mobility.

Full Set
After you complete the full Raiment of the Jade Harvester set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Lakumba's Ornament
  • Quetzalcoatl
  • Sacred Harvester
  • Ring of Emptiness

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Jade Harvester Guide

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture. The overall best setups we recommend for Witch Doctors are the Zunimassa's Haunt Poison Dart and Mundunugu's Regalia Spirit Barrage builds. Click here for Zunimassa and Spirit Barrage guides.

Wizard - Firebird's Finery

GR20 Run
Firebird's Finery gives you an easy start both in GR20 and beyond. Disintegrate everything to apply the DoT effect and watch them melt, for extra damage also use Explosive Blast. Keep up Force Armor, Magic Weapon and move around with Teleport.

Full Set
After you complete the full Firebird's Finery set, focus on acquiring the remaining key items for the build. These should easily carry you into Torment XVI and beyond:

  • Fragment of Destiny
  • The Shame of Delsere
  • Orb of Infinite Depth

Make sure to check out the full build guide here: Firebird Flame Blades Guide.

Once you have the full setup, use it to farm for any other build you may want to play. Refer to our Solo Tier List to get a better picture.
